Spanish + scuba diving


Español + curso de buceo



We collaborate with the nearby diving club and school Buceo Canarias, thus we offer you the possibility to combine your Spanish course with a diving course.


Absolute beginners and experts can participate in the diving course. The course can book in the afternoons and weekends.


The diving school provides all the equipment: wet suit, ballast belt, regulator and oxygen bottle. Do not forget your bathing suit, towel and dry clothes.





Modalities and prices


Discover scuba


Aimed at: beginners.

Length: 3-4 hours.

Description

  • First a brief explanation of how the activity will be developed and some theoretical concepts will be given.

  • Then a ride in our van to Sardina del Norte, a picturesque fishing port, where the conditions of the sea and the entrance and exit are similar to those of a swimming pool.

  • A review with the instructor will be done, of the steps to follow. And get ready for the adventure!

  • Dive from the hand of the instructor, who will show you the different native species that live in these waters.


Price: 60,00 Eur.


The participant must bring his bathing suit, towel and dry clothes to change.


One-day course


Aimed at: beginners.

Length: 5-6 hours.

Description

  • First a brief explanation of how the activity will be developed and some theoretical concepts will be given.

  • Then a ride in our van to Sardina del Norte, a picturesque fishing port, where the conditions of the sea and the entrance and exit are similar to those of a swimming pool.

  • A review with the instructor will be done, of the steps to follow. And get ready for the adventure!

  • A first dive will be made to adapt to the equipment and to practice some simple exercises.

  • Break between dives where you will have a small snack.

  • Second dive from the hand of the instructor, who will show you the different native species that live in these waters.


Price: 95,00 Eur.


The participant must bring his bathing suit, towel and dry clothes to change.


Open water diver course


Aimed at: obtaining the Open Water Diver certification. This certification allows diving up to 18 meters deep worldwide.

Length: mínimum 4 days.

Description:

  • Theoretical classes (face-to-face or online).

  • Practice in swimming pool.

  • Five open water dives. As many as needed to dive safely and fun.

  • The number of classes and practices indicated here is the minimum. If you need more theoretical or practical classes, they are included in the price.

  • Once the course is finished, the participant can buy a 6 dives voucher with all equipment included for only 120 Eur for dives with qualified instructors. The validity of the voucher is three months from the end of the course.


Price: 300,00 Eur. 6 dives voucher = 120 Eur.


The participant must bring his bathing suit, towel and dry clothes to change.


Certified divers


Aimed at: Certified divers.

Length: 3-4 hours.

Description inmersiones adaptables a todos los niveles de experiencia, tanto desde costa como desde lancha.

All diving equipment is included.

Diving places: La Catedral, El Cabrón, Caleta Baja, shipwreck Kalais, shipwreck Arona, shipwreck Ángel Pando.


Prices:

  • 45,00 Eur. (1 dive, aprox. 3 hours.)

  • 65,00 Eur. (2 dives, aprox. 5 hours.)


The participant must bring his bathing suit, towel and dry clothes to change.

Learning tip:


Work a little on your Spanish knowledge before you arrive – do some reading and review the grammar. Some prior study will make the beginning easier.
